Some may call Singapore boring, but to those who believe in the powers of economics it is close to paradise on earth. Apart from a short Japanese invasion it has been pretty lucky with its leaders who all saw economic growth as main goal. Contrary to common European belief this has not led to enslavement of the work force but instead generated wealth for many, making Singaporeans love their country in an almost scary way.
In many places Singapore has the appearance of what we imagined our future cities to look like before we became afraid of the future.
